All Datastreams have the same Advanced Settings, found in the left-hand menu in each Datastream Overview.

Local Data Retention
- Extract Filenames:
- Unique by fetch
Each new Data Extract will be given a unique name. - Unique by day
Each calendar day, as defined by the Key Date Column, will generate a separate Data Extract. Subsequent fetches including data from that same calendar day will update that Data Extract.

All viable Date columns available from the Datastream are displayed in the drop-down, select the one you wish to define your key date value. - Retention Type:
- Retain All
All data extracts will be retained indefinitely. - Retain N fetches
A number of fetches equal to the Retention Number will be retained. - Retain N extracts
A number of extracts equal to the Retention Number will be retained. - Retain N days
A number of days equal to the Retention Number will be retained.

The number of fetches/extracts/days to be retained. - Remove if empty:
If ticked, data extracts containing no rows will be automatically deleted, without sending you a notification. - Prune instantly:
If ticked, all deleted extracts will not be retained for the usual grace period.
Other
- Lock Mapping:
Prevent Schema Mapping from being updated with each new Data Extract.

Update Schema Mapping with every new Data Extract. - Auto
Lock only for raw extracts. - On
Lock all Schema Mapping.

- Sequential:
If ticked, extracts will fetched in sequential order. - Refetch:
Number of extracts to be refetched when conducting a fetch action. - Share with children:
If ticked, all child Workspaces will be able to access this Datastream.
Save As Template
- Name:
The name that will appear in the list of Datastream Templates. - Serialized data:
Directly edit the serialized .json configuration, making the configuration available as a Datastream Template. - Description:
The description that will appear in the Datastream Templates list.
