If the user who authorized the Adverity Connection in Twitter had a role other than "Ad Manager" or "Account Administrator", to retrieve values for fields website_card_url and card_name from Twitter Ads API, a few steps are required.
Note that we only support card types 'WEBSITE' and 'VIDEO_WEBSITE'. The fields are available automatically when pulling a report from the API.
- The user who authorizes Adverity Connection needs at least role 'Ad manager' or 'Account administrator' in Twitter for all desired accounts in order to be able to retrieve card data.
- Once the permission has been updated for the the selected Twitter accounts, re-authorize the connection in Adverity.
- Before the cards data can be pulled correctly, our Engineering Team will need to manually sync all tweet data (including cards) with the Adverity platform. Please contact Adverity Support or your Customer Success manager to go through this step.
- Pull report from API - Cards data should be present in the extract. If not, please inform our support team.
