Adverity Insights supports Two-factor authentication (2FA) as an additional security layer. On stacks with enabled, Two-factor authentication users are required to use a six-digit token provided by their mobile device additionally to the password in order to log in.
HOW TO SET UP 2FA
To set up 2FA, you will need rights to access the administrative section on company (top) level.
Navigate to Manage Company > Configure Two-factor authentication.
Two-factor authentication can either be enabled for all users accessing Adverity Insights or be limited to non-Shared Dashboard Users. In the latter case Shared Dashboard only require a password, but not Two-factor authentication, when logging in.
EXCLUDING IP ADDRESS FROM TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION
In cases when you don't want to use the two factor authentication inside your business organization (office premises) you can white-list the IP address and this way it will be excluded from the Two-factor authentication.
To do this, first you need to find out what is your IP address. This can be easily done by typing into Google "what is my IP" or visiting websites like https://whatismyipaddress.com/
