Adverity provides different types of date ranges to give you more flexibility in what's displayed in a widget. You can define whether the date range of your widget should be Fixed, always displaying data between the chosen start date and end date, or dynamically adjusting to the current date.
FIXED DATE RANGE TYPES
Fixed
- Select start date and end date
- Widgets display data within the chosen date range
- Date range remains unchanged
DYNAMIC DATE RANGE TYPES
Note: Dynamic Date range types adjust based on CET resp. CEST
Moving End*
- Select start date
- Widgets display data from start date until current day
- Date range end shifts forward each day
Open End*
- Select start date
- Widgets display data from start date until the last date where data is available
- Date range end adjusts to the last date with data available
Last X days
- Insert a number - '0' will display today's data while '1' will display yesterday's data
- Widgets display the data for as many preceding days as the inserted value
- Date range window shifts forward each day
This week / month / quarter / year
- Select period type
- Widgets display data for the current week, month, quarter or year
- Date range adjusts on first day of week / month / quarter / year
Last week / month / quarter / year
- Select period type
- Widgets display data for the last week, month, quarter or year
- Date range adjusts on first day of week / month / quarter / year
All Time
- Select All Time
- Widgets display all available data
- Date range adjust according to first and last date with data available
- Use this Date Range Type only if really necessary as it costs a lot of your stack's performance. Use This/Last Year or Fixed instead
*DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MOVING END AND OPEN END
- Moving end displays data from start date until now, therefore it cannot display future data (such as planned values for the campaign)
- Open end displays data from start date until the last date where data is available, therefore it can display future data (such as planned values for the campaign)
